This is New York eccentricity at its finest.

I Like Killing Flies follows Kenny Shopsin, the stubborn, brilliant and frequently hostile owner of a tiny Greenwich Village restaurant with a 900-item menu and a set of rules only he fully understands. Customers are insulted, fed and looked after in roughly equal measure, while Kenny cooks, argues and philosophises from behind the counter.

But after more than 30 years in the same spot, the restaurant is being forced out, turning the film into a funny and sweet portrait of a family business, a disappearing neighbourhood and a man determined to do everything his own way.
